Caroline Overington

Caroline Overington is an award-winning journalist and the best-selling writer of eleven books, including the top ten listed The One Who Got Away, and Last Woman Hanged, winner of the Davitt Award for True Crime Writing in 2015. She has profiled many of the world’s most famous women, including Oprah Winfrey and Hillary Clinton, and has twice won the Walkley Award for Investigative Journalism. She has also won the Sir Keith Murdoch Award for Journalistic Excellence and the Blake Dawson Prize for Business Literature. Caroline is currently Associate Editor at The
Australian.

Suzanne Leal

Suzanne Leal is the bestselling author of The Teacher’s Secret and Border Street. A regular interviewer and presenter at literary events and festivals, she was the senior judge for the NSW Premier’s Literary Awards from 2017 to 2019 and is a board member of BAD Sydney Crime Writers Festival. Suzanne is also a lawyer experienced in child protection, criminal law and refugee law.
