Sue Turnbull is Senior Professor of Communication and Media Studies at the University of Wollongong. She has been reviewing crime fiction for The Sydney Morning Herald and The Age for over twenty years and is a scholar of crime on screen. Her publications include Media Audiences and The TV Crime Drama. Turnbull is a Judge for the Ned Kelly Awards for Australian crime writing, a regular guest on The Screen Show and The Bookshelf on Radio National, and a Board member of Screen Illawarra.
