Michael Robotham spent fourteen years as a journalist, gaining access to the Moscow State Archive and Stalin’s Hitler files, before becoming a ghostwriter of celebrity autobiographies, twelve of which were bestsellers. His debut psychological thriller The Suspect was chosen by the world’s largest consortium of book clubs as only the fifth “International Book of the Month”, and his books have gone on to win or be shortlisted for many crime writing awards including The Crime Writer’s Association Gold Dagger (and Steel Dagger), The Ned Kelly Award for Best Novel, The Mystery Writers of America Edgar Award for Best Novel and the ABIA General Fiction Award.
