Kate Mildenhall

Kate Mildenhall is a writer and education project officer, currently working at the State Library Victoria. As a teacher she has worked in schools, at RMIT University and has volunteered with Teachers Across Borders in Cambodia. Mildenhall has received residencies at Varuna, the Writers House and at Bundanon, and co-hosts The First Time podcast with fellow author Katherine Collette about the first time you publish a book. Her debut novel Skylarking was longlisted for the Voss Literary Prize 2017 and the Indie Book Awards 2017, and her second novel The Mother Fault is out in September 2020.
