Jodie McEwan is the Coordinator of the National Missing Persons Coordination Centre (NMPCC) at the Australian Federal Police (AFP). In this role, Jodie provides leadership and direction to the NMPCC in its mission to highlight the incidence and impact of long term missing persons in Australia. Jodie has 27 years’ experience working in law enforcement. In her current role, Jodie is overseeing the establishment of the National DNA Program for Unidentified and Missing Persons which will see contemporary forensic techniques applied to unidentified human remains across Australia. The program is an Australian-first and aims to identify long term missing persons and assist their long standing investigations.
