Getting your (first) book written

Lisa Kenway

By the end of the workshop, you’ll be able to articulate why you write, why this project is important to you, why you’re the best person to write it and how you’re going to get it done. You’ll learn about the importance of defining genre and understanding the publishing landscape, discover plotting techniques that even pantsers won’t hate, begin to develop a writing community, and learn how and when to seek feedback. Then, through a series of exercises and small group discussions, you’ll smash through writer’s block, develop strategies to get the words down and walk away with the tools you need to complete your first book with confidence.
