2020 DANGER PRIZE AND AWARD

Entries are now open for the third year of the prize, for the best book, TV series, podcast or film about Sydney crime, released in the 2019/20 financial year. Winners in previous years have been John Ibrahim, for his memoir Last King of the Cross, and Hedley Thomas for his podcast The Teachers Pet.
Five copies of each entry should be sent to 22a Daintrey Cres. Randwick NSW 2031. Entries close on Friday 9 October.
The prize winner will be announced on 6 November, alongside the Danger Lifetime Achievement Award. Given for a career exploring Sydney’s dark side in fact or fiction, this award has been made to Peter Corris and Bob Bottom.

Due to Covid 19, the Festival will now be in two parts – The International Festival will be online from 10-13 September and the face-to-face Festival will be held from 5-8 November. The Danger Prize will be awarded in November 2020 when we can all meet again in person.
