Join Guest of Honour Val McDermid and John Ibrahim, winner of the 2018 Danger Prize, for the opening night of BAD 19 – the Sydney Crime Writers Festival – and Australian crime publishing’s night of nights, the 2019 Ned Kelly Awards. These are presented in Sydney for the first time.

Tickets: All tickets $30. Tables of 8 or ten can be reserved. 

Gin, wine and beer will be provided, along with finger food. You can continue the evening afterwards at one of the restaurants in the Tramsheds complex. Better Read than Dead bookshop are the bookseller for the evening.
